Nice Hotel, very nice breakfast buffet.
The location was excellent as it's right in the middle of the city centre and allows easy access to all Leeds has to offer.
The car park was absolutely tiny for a hotel of this size. The facilities were minimal, there were functions on both evenings we stayed and there was no residents bar. The bar staff were absolutely hopeless and very unhelpful. The dining area was so small we, as well as numerous other guests, had to sit and wait in the bar for some time before we could be seated for breakfast. The breakfast was awful, in fact, it was so bad we didn't have any on the second day. I very, very rarely complain as I always look to make the best of any break that we arrange but although I really like Leeds I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The Mint on Granary Wharf is a far better option.
There was a student event on and no security had been arranged. I was woken twice during the night by lads thinking I was sleeping with their girlfriend. I did not sleep well!
cleansiness and comfort of room
We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel even though we were way too early to check in. The hotel staff were very efficient and the hotel itself was very clean. The first room we were allocated hadn't been cleaned but we were given another room immediately. Breakfast was included in the price and there was an excellent selection of hot and cold food.
A little noisy in the room, the windows would benefit from double glazing.
Everyone was so polite. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Room service was excellent. We were given an approximate time and the food arrived within that time. It was within a good walking distance to the shops and some nightlife.
the excellent location ease of access value for money cleanliness of the room great breakfast
The cost of the room and bed and breakfast -= excellent value for the standard provided.
We loved the location and the actual building which is fantasticThe price was also very attractive.
The 1st double room was minute and we had to move to a different room.
The Breakfast was good and breakfast staff were attentive and polite.
Room too small, too warm and 'grubby' looking
Very good price for smart city centre hotel in a great location.
Parking could have been a problem. Some early morning noise disturbed my sleep!
The location couldn't have been better for central Leeds
staff excellent, had food first evening, guy serving us was freindly and witty, same for bar staff and all staff i met
nothing, re Do you think guest reviews about this hotel on our website accurately reflect your experience there I didnt read online reviews so cant comment
I have stayed in several Leeds hotels but first time here. Check in very quick and easy (though it was quiet) and single room very pleasant with double bed I note previous reviews mention the hotel being very noisy but i did not find this an issue
Only issue was that the room was very warm - an issue mentioned by others in previous reviews. The window was already open when I arrived and stayed open throughout my stay but it never really cooled down - and the weather was not that hot outside
One room - the executive twin - was lovely. The other - the double - was small and cramped and the bed was tiny. We asked to be transferred to another double room, which was slightly larger, but the bed was still way too small for two, so it was an uncomfortable night.
